Life Teen Leadership
Opportunities for leadership are a large part of our youth ministry at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish. We encourage parishioners of all ages to get involved. Here are a few ways to get involved in high school youth ministry:
- Impact Team
- Core Team
- Core Support Team
- Retreat Team (Helping in a support role during retreats, i.e. kitchen, small group leader, cabin chaperone, etc.)
WHAT IS A CORE MEMBER?
A Core Member is an adult who has a passion for serving high school teens by acting as a witness in leading our teens closer to Christ. Core Members are dedicated to their faith, bringing to our high school youth ministry a variety of gifts and talents. They are one of the most vital parts of our Life Teen program. Core Members work under the guidance of the High School Youth Ministry Coordinator, assisting in the fulfillment of the youth ministry vision.
Because God is calling you. Working with teens might seem intimidating at first. We make all kinds of excuses. The best thing you can do is prayerfully discern if God is calling you to work with teenagers. The youth are our Church today and the Church of the future, so who wouldn’t want to spend time sowing seeds for the building up of the Church?
