High School Seniors: Parish Scholarships for College available through GHACF

Did you know there are St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish Scholarships available through funds of the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation (GHACF)?  Those students wishing to complete applications for this fund should do so by the deadline, February 1, 2024.

Applicants must be high school seniors within the Parish. The student must be a participating member, or their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are registered parishioners in good standing at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish. The competitive application process considers educational and personal goals, extra-curricular activities, financial need, academic achievement, and one letter of recommendation that addresses a student’s strengths and attributes.  Two scholarships will be awarded per calendar year.  One will be awarded to a student attending any university, four-year or two-year college.  The second scholarship will be awarded exclusively to a student attending any Catholic-affiliated university, four-year or two-year college.

NOTE: One letter of recommendation is required.  If you would like to be considered for this scholarship, include a letter of recommendation with your packet. 

To apply, students should visit the online scholarship portal. Please note:

 Students must complete the FAFSA before submitting the application. 

• Only one application is required. Once submitted, students are eligible for all scholarships for which they meet the requirement.
• A list of available scholarships can be found on the GHACF website.
• The deadline to apply is February 1, 2024. Notification will take place in the spring.
