What is our Parish Legacy Program?

Our Parish Legacy Program is a community of parishioners just like you who love their parish experience so much that they have made a commitment to include financial support for our parish in their future estate plans; through a bequest of generosity to our new parish legacy fund, a permanent parish endowment, which helps ensure financial support so our parish thrives, in perpetuity!

Why might our Parish Legacy Program be relevant to me?

Though this invitation to consider making your own personal commitment to include St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish in your estate plans may seem disconnected from our Catholic faith and spirituality experiences, this is far from the truth. Our invitation to enter into our ministry of generosity is your personal opportunity to offer a joyful response to the Gospel invitation in recognition of our Giving Legacy opportunity to be stewards of and grow all God’s good gifts!

St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish has served as an active and valuable part of the Grand Haven/Tri-Cities believers and community since 1857. Throughout those 165 years, our parish has been a tangible and spiritual blessing to her parishioners and to our neighbors reflected as our brothers and sisters in Christ, particularly those in need. We believe that inviting others to participate in funding our parish is an act of ministry — a generosity ministry! Many give weekly through our parish offertory and special collections which provides essential support of operations for our church and its ministries; reflecting each parishioners’ living, generosity legacy! But have you thought about what it could mean to you and our parish if you chose to become part of our parish legacy program? What’s That?

“To Inspire Every Heart to Know, Love & Serve Jesus Christ” today and forever!

Our parish vision is amazing and exciting and is brought to life each day throughout our collective ministries. You are being invited to invest yourself – all your unique talents, your energy, your prayers, your relationships with each other, and your financial resources, in this work as the Body of Christ to which God has called us! This invitation to live one’s faith through a financial gift encourages Catholic faithful people to ‘grasp the fact that they are no less than God’s co-workers’ (1 Cor 3:9) with your own, God-given gifts and role in His creative, redemptive, and sanctifying work of building solid faith and worship experiences for generations to come!

The purpose of the St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish Legacy Program is to form and celebrate the community of parishioners who have decided to include the Parish Legacy Fund in their estate plans. The Purpose of the Parish Legacy Fund is: to advance the present and future ministries of our parish, specifically
1.) Worship & Faith Formation
2.) Christian Service
3.) Facilities Stewardship

Your local Catholic Philanthropic Partner helping establish your personal generosity legacy

The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan (CFWM) is a separate, non- profit charitable organization dedicated to serve both donors and Catholic parishes, schools and ministries by facilitating the opening of new charitable giving funds that impact and sustain the ministries of our Church; thereby creating a more caring community, reflective of Christ’s love.

In their role, the CFWM serves Catholic parishioners who want to leave a giving legacy of love, faith, and support by including our parish legacy fund in your estate plan will or trust; ensuring that a portion of your assets are designated where you want them. Making an intentional commitment to contribute to the parish legacy fund or open up your own personal, permanent endowment fund who lists the parish as a beneficiary, you will ensure that your love and financial support for your parish will never end!

The CFWM is honored to guide you through the process of supporting the future of your parish and favorite Catholic ministries in a manner that works best for you! I look forward to speaking with you!
