Want to volunteer at St. Patrick Church’s Food Pantry? We are looking for help with these tasks:

1. Food distribution. Two or more workers cover 2-hour shifts on Tuesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. greeting clients, completing paperwork, and filling grocery requests.

2. Shopping. Shoppers receive a shopping list on Friday or Saturday and then shop for the items listed. Shoppers take turns and are assigned to work once/month. Shopping items need to be
delivered on Monday for Tuesday distribution.

3. Shelf stocking. Stockers work one Monday/month filling in the shelves, checking inventory dates, and arranging items so that the Tuesday distribution workers can easily fill orders.

4. Inventory. Inventory volunteers work on Thursdays picking up the LOVE order, counting shelf items, checking dates, removing out-of-date items, and reporting shopping needs.

5. Put away Feeding America order. Workers work two Wednesdays/month
from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. emptying the Feeding America order from the church van and stowing items in the pantry.

6. Holiday boxes. Workers fill boxes to help clients enjoy the holidays of Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and Easter. This activity occurs about 10 days to two weeks before the holiday so boxes can be distributed in addition to the normal pantry orders.
