🌟 Walk with the Next Generation: Become a Mentor for Emmaus Student Discipleship
Remember those challenging, exciting, and faith-shaping years of middle and high school? Now, imagine being the steady presence a young person needs during those pivotal moments. That’s exactly what Emmaus Small Group Mentors do.
Emmaus Groups provide students in grades 7–12 with a safe, welcoming space to belong, grow, and explore their faith. These small groups meet regularly in a relaxed, relational environment to talk about life, prayer, Scripture, and what it truly means to follow Jesus today.
🤝 What Is a Small Group Mentor?
Mentors are adults and young adults who show up, listen, encourage, and share their own faith journey with a small group of students. You don’t need all the answers — just a willing heart ready to walk alongside teens as they wrestle with big questions, explore their identity, and grow as disciples.
Each mentor team consists of two co-mentors and a small group of students, meeting throughout the school year. You’ll have access to discussion guides, materials, and ongoing spiritual support—so you’re never alone in this journey.
đź’ˇ Who Can Be a Mentor?
Whether you’re a parent, college student, young professional, retiree, or parishioner, this ministry is about presence, not performance. It’s a chance to give back in a way that truly matters—building authentic relationships that can last a lifetime.
🌱 Why Become a Mentor?
Small Group Mentors make an eternal impact simply by showing up with an open heart. You become a trusted adult whom students can count on—creating a space where teens can encounter Christ personally and deeply.
If you feel a gentle tug on your heart or a calling to walk alongside youth in their faith journey, we invite you to take the next step.
