
Theology on Tap with Mark Postma, April 16, 7:00 p.m. (OddSide Ales)

Topic: What is at the heart of forgiveness? Why can it be hard to let God into those most inner parts of our hearts? Let’s talk about that! Let’s talk about why we were made and what we are made for. Let’s dive into Scripture and allow several people and events in Salvation history awaken in us the desire to receive “more Jesus;” especially in the Confessional.
Bio: Mark and his family reside in Grand Haven. To pay the bills and feed his family Mark works as a Staff Manager for a large personal lines insurance company; however, his passion is in teaching the Catholic Faith. Mark earned his B.A. in Theology from Aquinas College and his M.A. in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He has worked for parishes in the Grand Rapids and Gaylord Dioceses, facilitated continued education theology classes for the University of Dayton, directed a catechist training apostolate, and is currently in his 8th year teaching with the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan. Mark enjoys reading, journaling ideas, teaching, backpacking, and deep conversations over coffee.
