“Rebuild My Church” Hallow Parish Week, Oct. 5-11

This week our parish joins hundreds of others for Parish Week: seven days of prayer called Rebuild My Church, Oct 5-11. Join us from our parish page in the Hallow app.

Day 1 · Rebuild My Church · St. Francis of Assisi	Day 1 of Parish Week. Francis heard “rebuild my Church” and picked up a stone. We’re starting where he did: looking at our own parish honestly and asking what it needs.
Day 2 · Prayer · St. Teresa of Calcutta	“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God.” Day 2 of Rebuild My Church is about where renewal actually starts. Not with a plan. With this.
Day 3 · The Sacraments · St. Carlo Acutis	Carlo Acutis called the Eucharist his highway to heaven. Day 3 of Rebuild My Church: the sacraments not as milestones we’ve already passed, but as the encounter that keeps happening.
Day 4 · Community · St. Elizabeth Ann Seton	Day 4 of Rebuild My Church. A parish is more than a building people go to — it’s a community people belong to. Elizabeth Ann Seton built both, mostly from nothing.
Day 5 · Give · Venerable Jan Tyranowski	Day 5 is Give. Jan Tyranowski was a tailor who took on a youth ministry nobody wanted, with no training and no budget. One of the young men he formed became John Paul II. What gets given is rarely what anyone would call sufficient.
Day 6 · Invite · St. Pier Giorgio Frassati	Day 6 of Rebuild My Church: Who in your life is waiting for an invitation: back to Mass, into this community, toward Christ? Frassati’s whole method of evangelization was to bring his friends along.
Day 7 · Mission Territory · Blessed Anna Maria Taigi	Last day of Rebuild My Church. Anna Maria Taigi’s mission territory was a small apartment and a difficult household. Yours is wherever you’ll be tomorrow. Thank you for praying with us this week.
Closing weekend	Final weekend of Rebuild My Church. Thank you to everyone who prayed with us this week and everyone who took tangible steps to help rebuild our Church.
