Topic: Recent Popes have reiterated that we no longer live in Christendom, that is, we no longer live in a period where Christian values are the foundation of culture. This is felt by Catholics today who have a nostalgia for the past, for an era where our Churches were full and the imaginative vision of society was largely Christian. Such a state of affairs can easily lead to discouragement, but with the changing world comes both new opportunities as well as new challenges, an era more akin to the time of the apostles. What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus in these apostolic times? And what are our grounds for hope today?
