Mass on St. Patrick’s Day

We will celebrate the Solemnity of St. Patrick, on Friday, March 17, with Masses at 8:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m.

I hereby grant you and your parishioners of the parish of St. Patrick a commutation of the obligation to abstain from flesh meat on Friday, March 17, 2023, by allowing individuals to transfer the observance of abstinence to Thursday, March 16, instead. Each parishioner may therefore choose whether to abstain on Thursday, freeing the following day for feasting in honor of St. Patrick, or to observe Friday abstinence as usual during their observance of the patronal feast.
